About Us
Himalayan Finds Media is a trade name of Teresa Borys, a sole proprietorship registered in the State of Illinois, United States (collectively, "Himalayan Finds Media," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Service-Based Business
We are a digital marketing services company. We do not sell physical goods. All fees relate to professional marketing services including, but not limited to, advertising management, strategy consulting, analytics implementation, and content creation.
Management Fee Refunds
If the Client terminates the service agreement mid-month, the Company will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of that month's management fee, calculated from the effective date of termination to the end of the billing period.
No refund will be issued for any billing period in which services have been fully delivered. Completed months of service are considered final and non-refundable.
One-Time Project Fees
For one-time engagements (audits, strategy sprints, setup projects):
- Before work begins: full refund less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on the Client's behalf.
- After work has begun but before delivery: pro-rated refund based on the percentage of work completed, at the Company's good-faith assessment.
- After delivery: non-refundable, except where the deliverable materially fails to match the agreed scope and the Company is unable to remedy the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
Advertising Spend
Advertising budgets are paid directly by the Client to the respective advertising platforms (Meta, Google, etc.). Where the Company manages media spend on the Client's behalf under a written arrangement, unspent media funds at the time of cancellation will be refunded to the Client's original payment method, less any non-recoverable platform fees.
The Company is not responsible for refunding advertising spend that has already been paid to and consumed by third-party advertising platforms, as those funds are managed and processed by those platforms.
How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, via our third-party payment processor. Once we initiate the refund:
- Card refunds typically appear on the Client's statement within 5–10 business days, depending on the issuing bank.
- Bank transfer / ACH refunds may take longer at the bank's discretion.
- Refunds will be issued in the original currency of the transaction.
We do not charge a refund processing fee. Payment processing fees on the original transaction that are not refundable to the Company by the processor are absorbed by us, not deducted from your refund.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at support@himalayanfindsmedia.com. We will work in good faith to resolve any legitimate dispute. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or for a charge that is later determined to be valid, may result in suspension of services and recovery of the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees imposed by the card networks.
Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and fairly. If you are dissatisfied with our services, we follow this resolution process:
- Direct Communication: Contact us via email at support@himalayanfindsmedia.com with a detailed description of your concern. We will respond within three (3) business days and work to resolve the issue directly.
- Internal Review: If the initial response does not resolve the matter, we will conduct a formal internal review of the services delivered and the terms of the service agreement.
- Mediation: If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to participate in good-faith mediation before pursuing any legal action. Mediation shall take place in Kane County, Illinois, and costs shall be shared equally between the parties.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at support@himalayanfindsmedia.com with the following information:
- Your name and company name
- The invoice number and billing period in question
- The reason for your refund request
- Your preferred resolution
We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days. If approved, we will initiate the refund within ten (10) business days of approval, after which the timing follows the processing windows described above.
